The seventh annual Salem Film Festival has been postponed until sometime in spring 2013.

Director Loretta Miles said, “This is a carefully thought out decision made by committee and based solely upon the fact that attendance was better in the spring than fall. Based upon that and our desire to see the festival continue to grow, we can only assume that Salem preferred it in the springtime. Exact dates have yet to be selected ...

“We ended last year’s festival in the black, and we are currently seeking sponsors and funding for our next festival.”
